If you're interested in outsourcing a website build, newsletter templating, or email campaigning, at rates lower than typical Canadian agencies, just reply "Yes". May I send you our package details, value list, case studies, and testimonials.

If you'd like to do-it-yourself, or sharpen your SEO expertise, read on brave soul! There's plenty of JAM packed SEO related articles, great perspectives, and relevant insights in this newsletter! 🙂

In the second half, there are additional articles you may want to read on team building! There's no time for team time like now!

AI and SEO

It's mid-2025 and AI has upended tech. Search engines now rely on multimodal models, forcing an industry wide 'rethink' of traditional SEO tactics. Content creators must adapt to AI-driven summarization, where nuanced, high-quality content is favored over keyword-stuffed drivel.

To help with all that, we've put together a collection of articles we've been reading, for your reading pleasure; but first, for what it's worth, here's my two-bits.

Back when SEO was just SEO, I mapped the results from a keyword research exercise onto some content I'd created, when I was working in economics as a researcher. I coined the new domain the 'search engine optimization frontier' [SEOF].

In economics, we have technology frontiers, which can be graphed on a two dimensional plane with a boundary, on the inside of which is a 'feasible' set of possible tech dependent productivity points. When technology changes, economists call it a technology shift and they shift the boundary outword, increasing the feasible set and adjusting their models accordingly.

SEOF can be graphed in the same way, but it represents the feasible set of SEO key words, phrases, and questions.

What's interesting, is that the definition of 'long-tail', which in SEO land means low-frequency (normally < 5% probability), maps directly to 'uncontested' SEOF! And that, my friends, is where you want to be in the search engine game! You want your websites on the next big word or idea that's going to be searched by everybody, but has yet to be optimized for.

That's the SEOF and it moves forward at the rate new trends go viral, new lingo shows up on social, and AI, with the help of scientists around the world, discovers new discoveries!

My guess is that the age of AI is going to make the SEOF shift faster and faster, which is even more reason to outsource your SEO to researchers and specialists, who are dedicated to keeping up with it all!

So that's my two-bits for the day, keep your eyes and your ears on the SEOF, that's where the action is!
